Your work

What you make here stays yours. Publishing puts the finished model where anyone who can see the build can turn it around; the steps, the parts list and the PDF are yours to share or to keep, and that is a choice per build.

Do not upload or generate somebody else's design as your own. Searching for a licensed franchise will not offer you a generator. The Community guidelines list what else is not allowed.

If someone published your work

  1. Write to [email protected].You do not need an account.
  2. Include the address of each build page, the work you hold rights in, and the basis for it.
  3. We reply within 2 working days.We act on complete notices and keep a record of each one.

If you have an account, you can also open the build's ⋯ menu, choose Report, and pick Copied or stolen design or Copyright or trademark. You confirm in good faith that the report is accurate. That usually hides the build from public pages at once while a person looks. Most holds lift on their own within hours — at most 24 — unless a person decides first; the build then becomes visible again and the case stays open until a person has reviewed it.

Without an account, send a notice of illegal content. It hides nothing while a person reviews it, and you get a reference number.

A complete notice gives: your name and an email address we can reach you at (we need these to act on a copyright notice; the public form lets you leave them out, and we may then be unable to); the address of each build page; the work you hold rights in, and why you think the build infringes it; and a statement that you believe in good faith that the notice is accurate and complete, and that you are the rights holder or allowed to act for them. We may ask for what is missing before we act.

The person who published the build is told by a notification and an explanation under Account standing — what was done and the rule it rests on — but never who sent the notice. They can appeal from there, and say why the build is theirs to publish; a person reviews it again.

Repeated infringement. Each confirmed infringement stays on the account's record. An account that infringes again and again can be restricted, suspended or banned, as How we moderate describes.

What a removal can and cannot undo

A build that is taken down leaves every public page. Files somebody already downloaded cannot be recalled, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

If your build was hidden or removed and you think that is wrong, appeal from Account standing, where the reasons are listed. A person reviews every appeal again, usually within 3 working days. One of us reviews it and answers it alone — nothing waits for a second person.

The LEGO® trademark

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this site.

bricknity is an independent place to make and share brick creations. It is not a LEGO® product and does not offer official LEGO® sets or instructions.

We use the word LEGO® only to describe what our models are built from, never the LEGO logo or the look of LEGO packaging, and never in a way that suggests the LEGO Group made or approved anything here. Please do the same when you share your builds.

Ce qui a changé

  • 1.0 · 13 octobre 2026 (UTC) — Version 1.0, the first in force: what a complete notice contains, how the person who published a build is told and can answer, repeated infringement, and how we use the word LEGO®.
  • draft-3 · 9 octobre 2026 (UTC) — Draft 3: one of us reviews an appeal and answers it alone; nothing waits for a second person.
  • draft-2 · 8 octobre 2026 (UTC) — Draft 2: a report's hold lasts at most 24 hours unless a person decides first, and a person still reviews the report after it lifts; an appeal is reviewed again by a person, usually within a few working days.
  • draft-1 · 28 septembre 2026 (UTC) — First draft for counsel.
