Who is responsible for your data
The operator of bricknity decides how your personal data is used. [OPERATOR — FOP details to be added] Write to [email protected] about anything on this page; we reply within 3 working days.
We run bricknity from Ukraine. [REPRESENTATIVES — EU and UK, to be appointed] You can always write to [email protected] directly, from anywhere.
What we collect, and why
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address, and your password stored only as a one-way hash | To create your account, sign you in, send your confirmation code and password-reset links, and reach you about your account |
| Your date of birth | Only to decide whether an account can be created and whether it is a teen account with its protections. It is never shown on your profile. |
| When you agreed to the terms, when you confirmed the automated-processing notice, and whether you subscribed to Build Digest, our occasional email of standout builds and new tools | To keep a record of what you agreed to |
| If you subscribed to Build Digest: which issues went to you. Some issues go to a group rather than to every subscriber — chosen by language, type of account, plan, account state, when you joined, or credits that have run out | To send an issue only to the people it is about. A group chosen by what people do (plan, account state, when they joined, credits) leaves teen accounts out; a teen gets such an issue only if our staff add them to it by hand |
| If you sign in with Google or Facebook, the account identifier and email address they give us | To sign you in with them |
| For each sign-in: the device's browser description, its IP address and when it started | To show you where you are signed in, let you sign out anywhere, and limit repeated attempts to get into an account |
| If you turn on two-factor sign-in: the key your authenticator app uses, stored encrypted; your recovery codes, stored only as one-way hashes, and which ones were used; while you are between your password and your code, a ten-minute record of that sign-in; and, if you tick «Trust this device», a record of that browser for 30 days | To check the code from your app, let you in with a recovery code if your phone is lost, and skip the code on a device you chose to trust |
| Your handle, display name, bio, links, language, time zone and preferences — the time zone you choose, or the one your device last reported | To show your profile and run the site the way you set it |
| A profile photo and a cover, if you upload them — stored privately, with their location and camera details removed — and the builds you pin to the top of your profile | To show them on your profile, the only place they are served from. A photo or cover is deleted when you replace or remove it, and both are deleted when you close your account. One hidden after a report is kept out of sight while the report is reviewed |
| If you answer a satisfaction question: your score from 1 to 5 or that you chose «Not now», any comment you wrote (teen accounts are never offered one), the language, and — for a question about a generation — which generation and which generator | To understand how satisfied people are with each generator and with bricknity, and to know when not to ask again. Nothing is triggered by a low score. Our staff also read the hour's ratings in their own Telegram group — the score, the generator and the comment, never who wrote it |
| The photos, files and descriptions you give a generator | To make what you asked for |
| A description the content check refused — at Create or when a pipeline starts: its text, when, which generator, and which kind of content it was refused for | So our support team can look into refusals and misuse of the generators. Kept for 30 days and then deleted, and erased sooner with your account. Support can read the text only by asking to see it, and each time is recorded |
| If your generating is limited: a moderation pause on starting generations, recorded with its case, and until when — or your own daily number of generations, and why | To apply it. A pause is kept in its moderation record; a daily number you set is kept with your account and erased with it |
| The rights line for a photo of a person: that you confirmed you have the right to use it, when, in which wording and language, and for which generation — never the photo | To show that the statement was made, for as long as the figure exists |
| What you make and publish, your collections, what you like and save, who you follow and whom you block | To keep your work, show what you chose to publish, and build your feeds |
| Your collections: their names, descriptions, captions and tags, the builds in them and their order, who can see each one, and a cover picture if you upload one — stored with its location and camera details removed. The collections you save or like | To keep your collections and show them as you chose. An uploaded cover is deleted when you replace it, delete the collection or close your account |
| Your plan, your credit balance and its history, and your payments as Paddle reports them — for each pack you buy, what it cost, in which currency, when it was paid and which of your credits came from it | To give you what you paid for and show you your payment history. Card details are entered on Paddle's checkout, not on ours. |
| When you open Plans or Top up: the country your internet connection comes from, worked out on our own server from your internet address with DB-IP's country database. The address itself is not stored or logged, and only the country is used | To show the price for your country — its currency and its tax — before you decide |
| When we test a new version of a screen: which test, which version you were first shown and when. Signed in, it is kept against your account; not signed in, only if you accepted analytics cookies, against the same random number as your visits. If the test is limited to some countries, the country your connection comes from is worked out on our own server, as for prices, and not kept. If our staff put your account into a version by hand: which one, when and who | To show each version to the share of people the test is for, to keep showing you the same one, and to count how many people saw each. Kept while the test exists. A signed-in record is in your data export and is erased when your account is closed; a signed-out one is erased when you withdraw cookie consent; both are erased when the test is deleted |
| What you type into search: sent to our server to find results and suggestions, and not stored or logged. Your recent searches are kept only in your own browser. For suggestions, how many requests came from your internet address in the last hour is counted, then forgotten | To answer the search, and to stop anyone flooding it |
| When you open a build or a collection: which one, and when. Signed in, it is kept against your account. Not signed in, it is kept against a code made from that day's random key, your internet address and your browser — a one-way code that cannot be turned back into the address, and the address itself is not kept | To count a view once a day rather than on every reload. Kept only until the first view on the next day, when the day's rows and its random key are deleted — after which a code can no longer be linked to anyone — and, for an account, erased when it closes |
| When you report something: the reason, your note and any screenshot you attach | So a moderator can review the report |
| When a person decides about your builds, collections, pictures or account: the decision, the rule it rests on, what it did and until when, any message sent to you, your appeal and its answer, and a timeline of the case. Whether an account is a teen's is shown to the person deciding | To tell you why under Account standing, to review appeals, and so every decision is accountable. Age is shown so a teen is handled with care; it is never a reason for a decision |
| If you report things: how many of your reports were upheld or rejected, and — if your reports were repeatedly unfounded — that they no longer hide anything, with the reason | So a person can notice misuse of reporting. It changes nothing by itself, and the person you reported never sees it |
| While you are signed in, a short list of events: signing up, confirming your email, choosing a generator, confirming, starting, finishing, failing, cancelling or regenerating a generation, publishing, opening the plans page, opening a build's instructions, and — once a day — that you used bricknity that day | To see whether people get from signing up to a finished build, and how many people use bricknity. It holds no description, no file name and no page address, and it is kept in our own database. |
| What you write to us | To answer you |
| When our staff help you: short notes about your request, and a record of each time they opened your account and of everything they did on it, the short lines they write in your credit history when they change your credits, and — if someone else asks us to close your account — the reference of that request and the checks we made | So the next person helping you knows what was said and done, and so every look at your account is accountable, and so no single person can close an account at someone else's request |
The law of the EU and the UK asks us to name the legal reason for each use. They are:
- To provide what you signed up for (performing our contract with you): your account and sign-in, your profile and its pictures, what you give a generator and what it makes, your builds and collections, your plan, credits and payments, the price for your country, notifications about your account, and answering what you write to us.
- Because the law requires it (a legal obligation): your date of birth for the age rules, payment and credit records for tax and accounting, handling notices of illegal content and explaining moderation decisions, and keeping data a court or an authority lawfully orders us to keep.
- Our legitimate interests, weighed against yours: keeping accounts and people safe — sign-in records, two-factor sign-in, limits on repeated attempts, the content check on descriptions, refused descriptions, reports, moderation and the record of what staff did; stopping starter credits being claimed twice; counting views once a day; the short list of signed-in events and screen tests that show us whether bricknity works; satisfaction answers; and help-centre searches that found nothing. You can object to any of these — see Your rights.
- Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time: Build Digest emails, other emails you switch on, and visit analytics and screen tests for signed-out visitors through the cookie choice.
Who else receives it
- The AI services listed below, for Capture 3D, Generate a 3D model, Generate image, Create minifig and Minifig from a photo. The one doing each kind of work receives the images and the words you wrote — never your name, your email address or your date of birth — and holds them under its own terms and its own retention period, not ours. Generate a 3D model can run on two listed services in turn: the first receives your words and draws a picture from them, the second receives only that picture and builds the model. Voxelise runs on our own brick engine and sends nothing to them.
- For Minifig from a photo, the service listed for that work receives the one photo of a person you upload. How long it keeps that photo and what it made from it is in its own privacy policy, linked below; we delete our copy as soon as your minifigure is delivered, and we cannot delete anything on its behalf.
- Paddle, our reseller and the merchant of record, when you buy a plan or credits. Paddle collects the payment details itself, under its own privacy notice. When you press buy we also pass Paddle your internet address, so the checkout is priced for your country exactly as Plans or Top up showed it; to show those pages we send Paddle only the country, never the address.
- Hosting and storage providers, who run the servers and keep the files.
- Email delivery services, which send our emails to you. Each email goes through one of them, which receives your email address and the email itself — including notification emails, which go only to a confirmed address: for your account, your money, moderation and security unless you switch those emails off, and for anything else only when you switch it on. A kind of notification we have paused, for everyone or for your account, is not sent while the pause lasts.
- Telegram, where our staff get short alerts in their own group. An hourly summary of satisfaction ratings: each score, its generator and any comment written with it, never your name, handle or address. An alert when a moderation case is opened or an appeal waits, without names or content. An alert when something about your payments needs a person: what kind of problem and a link to your account in our staff's tool, never an amount, your name or address. An alert when an account is closed at a third party's request (a parent or guardian, a report of a child under 13, an order): which kind of request and a link to the account in our staff's tool. A note when a subscription starts or is cancelled, with the plan only, never who; and a daily summary of totals. We delete our copy of a rating summary, a payment alert or a closure alert 14 days after it is sent; Telegram keeps it in our staff's group until they delete it.
- Google or Facebook, only if you choose to sign in with them.

Which service does which kind of work can change. A service receives your work only once the list above names it, and a service that stops taking new work stays listed while it may still hold what it was sent. Every edition of the list is in the change log at the end of this page. If the first service cannot be reached before it has accepted your work, a second listed service may do it instead — never both, and the price you were shown does not change.
The country lookup uses IP Geolocation by DB-IP, a database we keep on our own server (licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0). Nothing is sent to DB-IP.
We do not use your data for advertising, and there are no advertising cookies on bricknity.
Training. Whether a service may use what it receives to train its models is set by its own terms, linked in the list above. We read those terms before a service is listed. The terms of the service listed for Minifig from a photo allow it to use what it receives to improve its services; we have asked it to confirm in writing whether that applies to the work we send it, and this page will say what it answers.
The companies, by name. Cloudflare (USA) stores our files and carries traffic to the site. Resend (USA) and Brevo (France) deliver our emails. Paddle (UK) sells plans and credits. Google and Facebook sign you in only if you choose them. Telegram carries our staff's alerts. The AI services are in the list above, with their countries.
Data outside the UK and the EEA. Some of these companies are outside the UK and the EEA. Where the country has an adequacy decision — the UK for people in the EU, for example — that decision covers the transfer. Anywhere else, the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses in that company's data processing terms, with the UK addendum for people in the UK. Write to [email protected] for a copy of the safeguard that applies.
What other people can see
What you upload and generate is private until you publish it. Your public profile shows your handle, display name, bio, links, the photo and cover you uploaded, the builds you pinned and your public builds. Under your name it shows how many builds you have, your followers and the people you follow, the views, likes and downloads added up across your public builds, and when you joined; a teen account's profile shows only when it joined. A photo and cover are shown only on an adult account others can see, and never while an account is suspended. Your description is shown on a public build only if you choose that in Settings → Privacy. You can keep your profile out of search and creator pages there too; that does not hide your public builds from anyone who has a link.
A public collection shows its name, description, captions, tags, cover and the builds in it that are public, with your handle; an unlisted one shows the same to anyone with its link. Its page shows how many people saved and liked it, never who. A build's creator is told when their build goes into your public collection.
The person you report is never told who reported them, and never sees your note or screenshot; you are told only whether we acted or found no breach. The accounts you block are visible only to you, in Settings and in your data export, and the person you block is not told.
Who at Bricknity can see your account
A small number of Bricknity's owners can open your account in our admin tool, to answer you or to keep the service safe. They see your email address, handle, age, account state, plan and credits, your generations, the titles of your builds and collections, your sessions — by network, never your exact internet address — and whether the emails we sent you went out, never what they said. A private build's description, pictures and files open only when one of them asks to see them, and that is recorded each time. A private collection's description, tags, captions, the list of its builds and its uploaded cover open only when one of them asks to see them, and each look is recorded on the collection's admin page and from any moderation case that concerns it. In the same way, a generation's description, the names of the photos it used and — for Generate a 3D model made in two steps — the picture made on the way open only when one of them asks to see them, each time recorded, and opening a generation in the admin tool is recorded too. A pipeline run’s descriptions and photos open in the same way, only when one of them asks to see them, and each look is recorded.
They never see your password, the key behind your authenticator app or your recovery codes, and they cannot sign in as you. Every time one of them opens your account, and everything they do on it, is recorded with who did it and when, and that record cannot be changed afterwards.
On your request, support can send you a password-reset link, sign you out of every device, take you off Build Digest, send a link to a copy of your data to your account's own email address, close your account when you ask from its own email address (with the same 30 days to change your mind), and turn off two-factor sign-in once we have checked it is you — never on the strength of an email alone. About money, support can add credits or take back ones added by mistake, give back the credits of a generation whose result was wrong, cancel your plan at the end of its period when you ask from your account's own email address, and lift a pause on spending once a lost payment dispute leaves nothing to settle. About generations, support can stop one before it finishes — its credits come back as they do when a generation fails — run one again free of charge, or set your own daily number of generations (one or more). About pipelines, support can stop a run — steps that finished stay paid, a step that has started keeps its price, the rest comes back — and give back, once, credits a finished run kept, within 90 days. Our owners can correct a wrong date of birth when you show proof of your age — we note what proof we saw, never a copy of it; you cannot change it yourself. Pausing your generating is no longer something support does: it is a moderation decision, explained and appealable on Account standing. A line support writes in your credit history is in your data export and is erased with your account; the credit movements are kept as financial records.
If someone else asks us to close an account — a teen's parent or guardian, a report that it belongs to a child under 13, or a court's or an authority's order — one of our owners checks the request before anything happens, and the request and the checks are kept in the record of what staff did. An account closed this way cannot be restored from the account itself; one of our owners can restore it — except an account that belongs to a child under 13, which is erased at once rather than after 30 days, and cannot be restored by anyone. When a relative or someone close tells us that the person has died, and we see a death certificate or an obituary, one of our owners can close the account the same way; it is erased after 30 days, and we give nobody its data unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Your photos: as Settings → Privacy says — kept for as long as the build exists (the starting choice), or deleted sooner if you choose. Without the originals, a build cannot be regenerated.
- A photo for Minifig from a photo: deleted from our storage shortly after its generation ends — finished, failed or cancelled — whatever Settings → Privacy says. It is never published.
- A picture made on the way to your 3D model, when Generate a 3D model runs on two services: never shown to you or published, stored privately, and deleted 7 days after the generation ends — finished, failed or cancelled. Until then one of our owners can look at it, to check a failed or poor result, and each look is recorded.
- The rights line for that photo: kept exactly as long as the figure — deleted when you discard the figure, when the generation ends without one, and when you close your account. It is included in your data export.
- A generation you delete from your list: it leaves Your generations, but its record — what it was, what it cost and what was refunded — stays with your credit history for as long as that history is kept.
- Your notifications: kept for 90 days and then deleted, and deleted at once when you close your account. They include your own switches for which ones reach you, and any pause we set on a kind of notification for your account, kept until we lift it; those pauses are erased with the rest when you close your account. A notice that somebody liked or followed you names that person; a sign-in alert names the browser and system from the sign-in, never its IP address. Both are in your data export, without anybody else's name. Deleting one in your inbox takes it out of view at once; it is erased with the rest at the end of that period.
- That we told you about a price change: which change, when, and whether in the words for a teen account — kept with the record of the change, as proof that notice was given, and erased when you close your account. The notice itself is a notification like the others above.
- A description the content check refused: kept for 30 days and then deleted, and erased sooner when your account is erased.
- A screenshot attached to a report: stored privately, seen only by moderators, and deleted after 90 days — sooner if you close your account.
- A notice of illegal content: the name, email address, link and explanation you gave are kept for 180 days, only to handle the notice, and never shown to the person it is about. If you gave an email address, we send you a receipt; our copy of that address in the sent-mail record is removed 30 days after it goes. The record that a notice was received stays.
- Moderation records: a decision about you, its statement of reasons, your appeal and the case's timeline are kept as the record of that decision, which cannot be changed afterwards — a later decision is added beside it, never written over it. A notifier is emailed the outcome only while their address is still kept. A suspended person's private link to their Account standing page works for 30 days.
- A banned email address: if an account is banned, we keep a salted one-way key of its email address for two years from the ban — even after the account is erased — so the same address cannot be used to open a new account. It cannot be turned back into the address. We keep it on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the people on bricknity safe; it is erased when the two years end, or sooner if the ban is reversed or lifted.
- Help centre searches that found nothing: we keep the words only when at least 3 searches for the same words found nothing on the same day, so we can write the missing answer. Anything searched fewer times is deleted within a day, and digits and email addresses are removed before anything is kept. Kept words go after 90 days, and none of it is linked to you.
- “Did this answer your question?”: we keep the article, its language, your yes or no and the reason you picked. Nothing that identifies you is stored with it.
- Satisfaction answers: 730 days from when you answered, then deleted — sooner if you delete your account. They are in your data export.
- Your account: until you delete it. Then, for 30 days, it is hidden and can be restored; after that, your builds, files, photos, profile and events are erased, together with your sign-in history, your date of birth and the language you chose.
- Two-factor sign-in: the encrypted key and the recovery-code hashes until you turn two-factor off or delete your account, whichever is first; a used recovery code until you make new ones; the record between password and code for ten minutes; a trusted browser for 30 days, or until you change your password, sign out everywhere else, turn two-factor off or delete your account.
- Staff notes about you, and a limit support set on your generating: until your account is deleted. The record of what staff did on your account: kept as a security record.
- A change of your email: the new address and its code (kept only as a one-way digest) while you confirm it, and your old address with a one-time link to take the account back for 7 days. Both are deleted 30 days after the change, and with your account.
- What survives deletion: apart from a banned address's key above, only a one-way hash of your email address — and of your payment fingerprint where one exists — plus the fact that the starter credits were issued. It cannot be turned back into your address, and it exists only so the one-time starter credits cannot be claimed twice.
Every period above can be longer when a court or an authority lawfully requires us to preserve data: while such a demand stands, neither our automatic clean-ups nor closing your account delete what it covers, and we delete it once the demand ends. We may be unable to tell you about such a demand while it stands.
- Payment and credit records: what you bought, what it cost, and every credit movement are kept for five years after the end of the year they happened in, because tax and accounting rules require such records to be kept — even after your account is erased, without your profile or your work. Paddle keeps its own records as the seller.
- Backups: we keep copies of our databases for up to 30 days, so the service can be recovered after a failure. Something you deleted is gone from the backups within 30 days. If we ever have to restore a backup, we delete again what had been deleted.
- Reports, moderation records and a reporter's record: a report's reason and note, a decision, its statement of reasons, an appeal and the case's timeline are kept for three years after the case is closed, then deleted. A screenshot goes sooner, as above.
- The record of what staff did: kept for two years after each entry, so any look at your account stays accountable.
Your rights, and where to use them
| You want to | Do it here |
|---|---|
| Get a copy of your data | Settings → Delete account → Download my data. It gives you one file and deletes nothing. Cannot sign in? Ask [email protected] from your account's email address and we send a link there that works once and lasts 7 days. |
| Correct your profile | Settings → Profile. For anything else, write to [email protected]. |
| Delete your account and data | Settings → Delete account |
| Choose what is shown and how long photos are kept | Settings → Privacy |
| Change your cookie choice | Cookie settings, also in the footer of every page |
| Stop or start Build Digest emails | The unsubscribe link in any Build Digest email, the switch in Settings → Preferences, or the footer of any page |
| Choose which notifications reach you, in the app and by email | Settings → Notifications. Notices about your account, money, moderation and security cannot be switched off by you in the app; their emails are yours to switch off. We may pause one kind of notification for everyone or for your account; it then shows as Paused by bricknity. A suspended person is always emailed the link to their Account standing page. |
| Object, restrict, or ask anything else | Write to [email protected] from your account's email address |
If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the law gives you these rights: to get a copy of your data and to have it given to you in a form you can take elsewhere; to have wrong data corrected; to have your data erased; to have its use restricted; to object to a use based on our legitimate interests; to withdraw a consent at any time, without affecting what was done before; and to complain to a data protection authority, as described at the top of this page. Wherever you live, we give everyone the same rights.
We answer a request within one month. If it is complicated or there are many, we may take up to two months more, and we tell you within the first month. We may ask you to write from your account's email address so we know it is you. It is free, unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
Teens and children
bricknity is for people aged 13 and over. Under 13, sign-up creates no account and does not save the details. A teen account (13 to 17) publishes privately, is not listed in search or on creator pages, asks search engines not to list its profile, cannot buy anything, cannot upload a profile photo or a cover, and is never counted by the visit-analytics cookie. See For teens and For parents.
Minifig from a photo is not offered to a teen account, or to any account whose age we cannot confirm.
If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to [email protected] and tell us the handle if you know it.
Automated processing
Turning your photos, files and descriptions into models is automated, and sign-up asks you to confirm you understand that. Two other things are automated: descriptions are checked before a generation starts, and a reported build is usually hidden at once while a person reviews the report. Every moderation decision itself is made by a person.
None of these is a decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you: a refused description costs nothing and you can change it, and a hidden build comes back when its hold lifts unless a person decides otherwise. If you think an automated step got it wrong, write to [email protected] and a person looks at it.
Changes to this policy
Every version has a version number and the date it takes effect, shown at the top of this page, with a line saying what changed. The English text is the binding one.

Our owners can correct a wrong date of birth on proof of age; we note what proof was seen, never a copy. We delete our copy after 14 days. An account that belongs to a child under 13 is now erased at once, not after the usual 30 days, and cannot be restored by anyone. Our staff also get a note when a subscription starts or is cancelled (the plan only, never who) and a daily summary of totals.
- draft-38 · 12 жовтня 2026 р. We delete our copy after 14 days; Telegram keeps it until our staff delete it.
- draft-37 · 12 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 37: our staff read satisfaction ratings in an hourly summary in their own Telegram group — the score, the generator and any comment you wrote, never your name, handle or address. Telegram receives it; we delete our copy after 14 days, Telegram keeps the message in the group until our staff delete it. Alerts about new moderation cases go there too, without names or content.
- draft-36 · 12 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 36: we sometimes test a new version of a screen on part of our visitors. Which version you see is worked out from your account, or — if you are not signed in and accepted analytics cookies — from the same random number as your visits; we keep which version you were first shown and when, to count how many people saw each. A test can be limited to some countries, worked out on our own server from your internet address, which is not kept. Our staff can put an account into a version by hand to check it. A signed-in record is in your data export and is erased when your account is closed; a signed-out one is erased when you withdraw cookie consent; both go when the test is deleted. Without that consent, a signed-out visitor is never placed in a test.
- draft-35 · 11 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 35: some Build Digest issues go to a group of subscribers rather than to all of them — chosen by language, type of account, plan, account state, when they joined, or credits that have run out. A group chosen by what people do leaves teen accounts out.
- draft-34 · 10 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 34: our emails are sent through more than one email delivery service. Each letter goes through one of them, which receives your email address and the letter; we keep which service took it, and how many letters each sent per day.
- draft-33 · 10 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 33: Generate a 3D model can run on two listed services in turn — the first receives your words and draws a picture, the second receives only that picture; the picture is never shown to you, is kept privately, and is deleted a set number of days after the generation ends.
- draft-32 · 10 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 32: when a price change reaches you, we keep a record that we told you — which change, when, and in which words — kept with the change and erased when you close your account; the notice itself is an ordinary notification, emailed to a confirmed address. Which country's price applies is decided by the country you buy from.
- draft-31 · 10 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 31: a pipeline run’s descriptions and photos open only when one of our owners asks to see them, and each look is recorded, in the same way as a generation’s; support can stop a pipeline run and give back credits a finished run kept; and support no longer pauses anyone’s generating — that is a moderation decision now.
- draft-30 · 10 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 30: while you are signed in, we now also note that you used bricknity on a given day (once a day, with no page address and nothing about what you looked at), that you opened the plans page (once a day), and that you opened a build's instructions (once per build a day). If you are not signed in and accepted analytics cookies, we also count which builds you open, under the same random number as your visits — never for a teen account. All of it sits in our own database, is used only to understand how people use bricknity, and is erased when your account is or when you withdraw cookie consent.
- draft-29 · 10 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 29: a private collection's description, tags, captions, the list of its builds and its uploaded cover open only when one of our owners asks to see them, and each look is recorded on the collection's admin page and from any moderation case that concerns it.
- draft-28 · 9 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 28: satisfaction questions — after a generation, and from time to time about bricknity as a whole, we may ask how satisfied you are. If you answer, we keep your score (or that you chose «Not now») and any comment you wrote, with your account, the generation it was about and the language; teen accounts are never offered a comment box. It is used only to understand and improve the product, nothing is triggered by a low score, it is in your data export, it is erased when your account is, and it is deleted after 730 days.
- draft-27 · 9 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 27: moderation can pause your generating as a sanction after three confirmed breaches in 90 days, and the pause is recorded with its case; support no longer pauses generating by hand.
- draft-26 · 9 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 26: when the content check refuses a description, we keep its text, when, which generator and why for 30 days, then delete it, and erase it sooner with your account; support reads the text only by asking to see it, and each time is recorded. A generation's description and the names of its photos also open only when support asks to see them, each time recorded, and opening a generation in our admin tool is recorded too. If moderation pauses your generating as a sanction, the pause is recorded with its case; if support sets your own daily number of generations, that limit is kept with your account and erased with it.
- draft-25 · 9 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 25: we can pause one kind of notification, in the app or by email, for everyone or for your account. For a pause on your account we keep which kind, which channel, our reason and which of our owners set it, until it is lifted, and we erase it when you close your account; your data export shows which kinds are paused for you and since when, without who or why.
- draft-24 · 9 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 24: a request from someone else to close an account is now checked and decided by one of our owners instead of two, and is kept, with the checks made, in the record of what staff did on your account — no longer as a separate two-owner decision. An account closed this way still cannot be restored from the account itself; one of our owners can restore it.
- draft-23 · 8 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 23: moderation decisions — when a person decides about your content or account, we keep the decision, the rule it rests on, the message sent to you, your appeal and a timeline of the case, and show you the statement under Account standing; a reporter's record and whether their reports still hide anything are kept so misuse can be noticed. If an account is banned, a salted one-way key of its email address is kept for two years from the ban, even after the account is erased, so the same address cannot open a new account (legitimate interest: the safety of people on bricknity). A reporter is told whether we acted; a notifier who gave an email address is emailed the outcome while we keep it; a suspended person is emailed a private link to their Account standing page.
- draft-22 · 8 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 22: for each pack of credits you buy we now keep what it cost, in which currency, when it was paid and which credits came from it, so that an unspent part can be refunded correctly.
- draft-21 · 8 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 21: what support can do about your credits and plan — add credits or take back ones added by mistake, give back the credits of a generation whose result was wrong, cancel your plan at the end of its period when you ask from your account's own email address, and lift a pause on spending after a payment dispute; each is recorded. When support changes your credits it can write you a short line, shown in your credit history: those lines are in your data export and are erased with your account, while the credit movements themselves are kept as financial records.
- draft-20 · 7 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 20: support can email you a one-time link to a copy of your data — only to your account's own address, when you ask from it; the file is put together when you press Download. If someone else asks us to close an account — a teen's parent or guardian, a report that it belongs to a child too young to have one, or a court's or an authority's order — two of our owners check the request first, and we keep who asked, the reference of their request, the checks we made and why until the account is erased. Deleting an account now also erases its sign-in history, its date of birth and the language it used. Staff who open a private build to help you can also see its pictures and files, each time recorded; and the list of what staff see now says whether an email went out, not whether it arrived.
- draft-19 · 7 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 19: who at Bricknity can see your account, and what they can do — a small number of owners can open it in our admin tool to help you or keep the service safe; every time they open it and everything they do is recorded and cannot be changed afterwards; they never see your password, the key behind your authenticator app or your recovery codes, and they cannot sign in as you. Notes our staff keep about your requests are your data: they are in your data export, signed «Bricknity staff», and are erased with your account.
- draft-18 · 6 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 18: two-factor sign-in, if you turn it on — the key behind your authenticator app, kept encrypted; your ten recovery codes, kept only as one-way hashes; a ten-minute record between your password and your code; and, if you choose «Trust this device», a 30-day record of that browser. All of it is erased when you turn two-factor off or close your account, and none of it is shared with anyone.
- draft-17 · 5 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 17: the AI services that receive your prompts and photos are now listed by name — company, country and their own privacy policy — in a list we publish as numbered editions; a service receives your work only once an edition names it. Which service handles which kind of work can change, so the line that one service deletes its results after 3 days is replaced by its own terms, linked in the list.
- draft-16 · 4 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 16: search — what you type is sent to our server to find results and suggestions and is not stored or logged; your recent searches stay in your own browser; and the number of suggestion requests from your internet address is counted for up to an hour to stop floods, then forgotten.
- draft-15 · 3 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 15: your time zone — the one you choose, or the one your device reports — so dates and times on the site and in our emails are shown in it. The device's zone travels in a cookie that ends with your browser session, and the last one is kept with your preferences so emails arrive in your day. Neither is used to identify or track you; both are in your data export and are erased when you close your account.
- draft-14 · 3 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 14: profiles — a profile photo and cover you upload (stored privately with location and camera details removed, shown only through your profile, deleted when you replace or remove them or close your account, and kept out of sight while a report on one is reviewed), the builds you pin, and the numbers a public profile shows.
- draft-13 · 3 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 13: opening a collection is counted the same way as opening a build — once a day, with nothing kept about a visitor who is not signed in.
- draft-12 · 2 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 12: collections — what you write on one, its cover picture (stored with location and camera details removed), and the collections you save or like; what other people can see of a public collection.
- draft-11 · 2 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 11: deleting a notification takes it out of your inbox at once; it is erased with the rest when the retention period ends.
- draft-10 · 1 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 10: a visitor who is not signed in is now counted once a day too — by a code made from that day's random key, their internet address and their browser, which cannot be turned back into either; the key is deleted with the day, and with it any way to link the code to anyone. The address itself is not kept.
- draft-9 · 1 жовтня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 9: build views are counted — for a signed-in person, which builds they opened today is kept until their next view after that day, so a view counts once a day; a visitor who is not signed in is counted with nothing kept about them.
- draft-8 · 30 вересня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 8: prices are shown for your country — which country is worked out on our own server from your internet address and not kept, and only when you press buy does Paddle receive the address, to price the checkout for your country.
- draft-7 · 30 вересня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 7: the operator is named in its own sentence, which says when its details will be published.
- draft-6 · 30 вересня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 6: what a guest fills in before signing in is kept in their own browser for the round trip — at most thirty minutes — and never sent until they press Generate.
- draft-5 · 30 вересня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 5: notifications — what the inbox keeps and for how long, the emails it sends and how to choose them, and that a sign-in alert names the device, never your address.
- draft-4 · 29 вересня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 4: Build Digest — the occasional email you can subscribe to from the footer or Settings, and three ways to stop it.
- draft-3 · 29 вересня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 3: says what stays when you delete a generation from your list — the record of what it cost and what was refunded, with your credit history. Draft 2 added Minifig from a photo.
- draft-2 · 28 вересня 2026 р. (UTC) — Draft 2: adds Minifig from a photo — the photo of a person it sends to the AI service, when our copy is deleted, and the rights line we record for it.
- draft-1 · 28 вересня 2026 р. (UTC) — First draft for counsel.
