Cancel a generation

Cancelling while a generation is still waiting returns all its credits; once the generator has started, the credits are not refunded.

How

On the generation's page, press Cancel generation and confirm. The confirm box says what to expect from what the page can see; the message after you cancel says what actually happened to your credits.

Still waiting

If the generator has not begun work on it, all of its credits come back, or nothing was ever taken.

Already started

The generator has begun working, so its credits are used. The generation is cancelled, but the credits are not returned.

Stopping a pipeline

Stop pipeline: finished steps stay paid and their results are yours. A step that is running follows its own generator's rule. Steps that had not started come back, and the confirm box says how many credits that is.

If the page is unsure

“We could not tell what that did to your balance” means the cancel went through but we could not read the outcome. Check Settings → Credits before starting another.
