Your profile: photo, cover and pinned builds
Your profile is your page on bricknity. You change it on the page itself — a photo, a cover, up to three pinned builds, and your name, bio and links.

Change it on the page
Your profile is at bricknity.com/@ followed by your handle. Open it and press Edit profile: a panel opens on the page with your display name, bio, up to 10 links and the avatar picker. Privacy, your handle and your account stay in Settings, and Settings → Profile has the same form.
Your name and bio are checked the same way when you save: sexual content, graphic gore and swearing are refused, and the field that did not pass is marked.
Your photo
The camera on your portrait offers three things.
- Upload a photo: you frame it in a round crop before it is saved.
- Use one of my builds: a frame from one of your published builds. It replaces an uploaded photo.
- Remove photo: your build frame or initials show again.
Your cover
Press Change cover on the cover to upload a wide picture, or choose Mosaic of my builds to show up to four of your public builds instead. You frame an upload at 5:1 before it is saved; a phone shows its middle.
With no cover of your own, the cover shows pictures of up to four of your public builds. With nothing published, it shows the stud pattern.
What you can upload
- JPEG, PNG or WebP. Never animated.
- A photo: up to 1 MB and 1024 px once it is framed.
- A cover: up to 3 MB and 3200 px once it is framed.
- We remove the location and camera details from the picture before anyone can see it.
Accounts of people under 18 cannot upload a photo or a cover. They can use a frame from their own builds instead. How a teen account works.
Who sees them
On an adult account that other people can see, your photo and cover are public. They are not shown while an account is suspended.
If a photo or cover breaks the rules
Anyone signed in can report one from the ⋯ menu on a profile, with Report photo or Report cover. A report hides only that picture, at once, while a person looks. The profile itself stays.
If yours is hidden, you are told. Account standing gives the reasons, and you can appeal from there. While a picture is hidden, it cannot be uploaded again. If the hold lifts, it comes back — unless you have put another picture in its place.
Pinned builds
You can pin up to three of your published builds to the top of your profile. On your own profile, open a build card's ⋯ menu and choose Pin to profile. Unpin from profile puts it back among the rest.
If a pinned build later becomes private or is removed, it simply stops showing to other people.
The numbers under your name
Your builds, your followers, who you follow, the views, likes and downloads across your public builds, and when you joined. A teen account shows only the join date — see teen accounts.
The Builds tab
It has a search, a filter by kind and a sort: newest, oldest, most viewed, most liked or name. A teen profile sorts by date and name only.
On your own profile you also see your unlisted, private and under-review builds, each marked, with a line saying how many a visitor sees.
If you close your account
Your photo and cover are removed with everything else. Close your account.
